Computer concepts on banners

Hello everybody! How are you doing? In the past sessions of informatics at school we worked a lot. on one side, we learned how to design banners. And on the other side, we learned a bunch of concepts of computing. So we mixed these two things we learned about and wrote five concepts on banners! This assingment was in groups, so I didn´t worked alone, I worked with Olivia Meyer. Here I leave you the concepts we chose:

Quantum Computers

Michio Kaku Thoughts on Quantum Computers

4*B saw a video about what Michio Kaku, a theoritical physicist, saying his opinion about Quantum Computers and axplaining a little bit what they are and how they work. After watching this video we had to do 5 Banners with the most important topics we think that are talked about in the video, we hope you can understand what the video is about reading the following banners...

Michio Kaku, quantum computers

Hello guys! How are you doing?
Today I have to pleassure to present you Michio Kaku, an american physicist. Kaku's academic studies started at Harvard University and then at the Berkeley National Laboratory (University of California).
For almost thirty years he has been teaching Theoretical Physics at the New York University.

But I want to talk to you about his thoughts on
                                                   Quantum Computers.
Here do you have the Link so you can watch the video if you want to!

Thank you for your atention!

Quantum Computers Michio Kaku

Today we saw a video from Michio Kaku of Quantum Computers and here are 5 concepts which we find interesting.

Thanks you for seeing our post.

Michio Kaku Thoughts on Quantum Computers

Michio Kaku Concepts

Last class we saw a video about Michio Kaku's thoughts on quantum computers and the assingment on this topic was writing 5 themes and doing a banner of each theme. So here are the chosen concepts.

Thank you for your time, I hope you learned something new
See you on the next blog.

Last class we saw a video from Michio Kaku,on Big Think. Our homework after this was choosing 5 themes and making Banners out of the Information  that we got about the different topics. In this Blog we want to show you what we got and we hope that you can understand some concepts that we think that are important for you to know.

So that is all we have for you guys today! Make sure to check Big Think´s website!

How are you all doing? Well, recently I have seen a very interesting video of Michio Kaku, theoritical physicist borned in USA and graduated from the Harvard Unversity, about the functioning of a quantum computer. If you want to take a look to the video I will leave it here.

I am using this post to explain you some concepts that he uses in his video that might be difficult to understand. As you can see down this, I chose five different banners in order to make it look nicer.

That is all for todays blog! I hope this explanations of the different concepts were very helpful to you. Please take a look to Michio Kaku's video I left at the start because I am very sure you will fin it very interesting.

See you in my next post!

Michio Kaku´s opinion on Quantum Computers

Hello,
nice to see you reading this post, I hope this post can clarify some doubts.

This is a very short summery I´ve  made in cooperation with Nacho with banners about the Michio Kaku´s video talking about Quantums Computers.
However, Moore´s law is changing. This law can not be taken literally as it may vary. For example, Michio Kaku says that the change subsides every 18 months.

The base of all current Computer is the Turing Machine:
MyBannerMaker_Banner (3).gif

But what is the difference between the current and Quantum Computer?

If it is so simple to do it, why not?
First of all because it is not as easy as it seems and second it has some problems

That is all for today! I hope you like our post.

Michio Kaku´s thoughts on Quantum Computers

On the video by Big think we can see Michio Kaku talking about the extinction of Moore´s Law, which used to apply to classical computers, which are using the Turing System

Afterwards he explains the meaning of Quantum Computers, saying how these can be the future of computers, because of their way to function

Quantum computers think atomically, and this is how advanced Atoms are in Quantum Computers today:

Even so this number is expected to grow, it is already a very complicated mathematical equation, so it has to be solved in the way here explained:

This method is quite complicated to do, and this is not even the only problem with Quantum computers

This is why Michio Kaku thinks that Molecular computers will be used before Quantum computers

Well Guys, that´s it for today, see you in the next one

Personal reflection on C&D thinking and mind mapping

Hi! What a long day, huh? Well, don't worry! I'm here to make your studding easier. Doesn't matter if you are in school, in college, or even working, we all have obligations. And those obligations lead eventually to do a little research, don't they? So, today I'm helpping you make research faster and easier to understand. Too much information is overwhelming don't you think? Keep reading!

C&D Questions

You might be thinking, What are C&D Questions? Well have a little patiens, that's what I'm about to explain.
C&D Questions are actually two compleatly different types of questions. Convergent questions and divergent questions. These kind of questions are the ones you use uncontionsly every time you have to make research on something.
Lets simmulate your sister is marring a japanees and you despertly need to find out things about japan and pretend you heard and payed attention to everything he ever sayd about his cuntry. You need to find out a lot of things right? What are their typical foods and traditions, but also thins about politics right? And thats not all, the list goes on and on.
So, naturally you just write the word "Japan" in google, but there is so much information, and it's about so much different things. Not only the simple things you need to know, but also every single thing in the internet thats minimally releated to Japan. What should I do, you ask yourself, I don´t have that much time! And you start to freak out. Don't! All you have to do is use a Convergent questin, not a Divergent one like you were doing the moment you wrote "Japan" in google. Be more specific! Write something that starts with "What", "Who", "Where", "Why", "When" or even "What would happen if..." for a change and find yorself in the world of the Convergent Question!
So, I'm supposing you could easily understand that long explenation. If you couldn't, then be my guests and read whats next:

Convergent Questions:
- Is simple and gets directly to the point
- Uses "W" Questions
- Gives you spesific answers
- Is not ideal for writting essays or talking too long whit somebody about the topic

Divergent Questions:
- Leads to more questions
- Often isn't even a question, it's more like a word or two
- Gives you more general answers
- Is ideal for writing a lot of pages or talking for hours and hours about a topic

Mind mapping

Mind mapping is a very known study technique. We've all used it at least one time, but do we REALLY know HOW to do it? I think no. We just write down the information and add some arrows to it. But that isn't even mind mupping. It actually takes time and efford. It takes different colors, sices and even different handwritings to make it an actual mind map. It needs to be flashy, noteworthy. Like this:

Hope you enjoyed my post! See you soon,

Personal Reflection on C&D thinking and mindmapping

Convergent and Divergent thinking

Convergent: Is the ability to give the "correct" answer to a question that doesn't require creativity to answer it. It decides what to do.

Divergent: It is the opposite of ''convergent''. It is a method to generate creative ideas by thinking about other solutions. It explores possibilities.

Mind Mapping

Mind Mapping it's a way of taking notes and learning, it is very simple, useful and you don't have to write full sentences or be precised, it is a free way of learning. You just have to be very passionate and creative!

Here is an example that Oli and I created:

C&D Questions and Mind Mapping

C&D Questions

There are two big types of questions, the Divergent and the Convergent questions. We use them normally, couse they are really usefull.
The convergent questions are the ones that someone make, to know a simple fact about a topic, basic information. For example Who`s the author of Harry Potter? or What does the giraffes eat?
They are not usefull if you want to make an assay.

The Divergent question are a little bit different than the convergent ones. They give you more precise and deep information about the topic, you will have to work harder to get it, couse they make you think outside the box. For example: What if the giraffes can fly?

With this type of questions you will be able to write an assay.

Mind Mapping

This is a type of making notes, its a study thechnique. I think that this type of mapping your ideas is really usefull, becouse its easy and fast. There are a lot of different ways to make one, you can use an app, or a piece of paper. I personally preffer to use the paper, couse you are free to do what you want, in the app you can use the tools that you have, that in most cases are a lot, but you are gonna lose some time changing from one to other.

Here is an example of a Mind Map, using an app, that Migue and I have done.
